Unclaw Terms of Service
Effective August 24, 2026
These terms govern your use of Unclaw: the desktop application, the Chrome extension, and the mobile app (together, "Unclaw"), made by Foton Labs ("we", "us"). By installing or using any part of Unclaw, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Unclaw.
1. What Unclaw is
Unclaw is an AI companion. It can converse with you, look at content you choose to share with it, and, when you ask it to, take actions on your behalf: opening pages, clicking, typing, and otherwise operating software on your devices and accounts. Unclaw's responses and actions are produced by artificial intelligence systems and may be wrong, incomplete, or different from what you intended.
2. You are responsible for what Unclaw does at your request
When you ask Unclaw to act, you are the one acting. Every action Unclaw takes on your behalf (including navigating websites, filling forms, sending messages, and completing purchases or other transactions) is taken under your instruction, in your session, with your accounts, and is your sole responsibility, exactly as if you had performed it yourself. You agree to supervise actions you request, and you accept the risk that the AI may misunderstand an instruction or perform it imperfectly. If you are not willing to accept the outcome of an action, do not ask Unclaw to perform it.
Unclaw shows you the actions it takes as it takes them, and its ability to act in your browser exists only while you keep the Unclaw panel open. Closing the panel withdraws that ability.
3. Your accounts and third-party services
Unclaw operates on websites and services under your own accounts and credentials. Your relationship with those services (including any purchases, fees, or terms-of-service obligations that arise from actions you asked Unclaw to perform) is between you and them. You are responsible for complying with the terms of every service you direct Unclaw to use. AI processing is performed by the provider you configure, under your own account or API keys, and their terms and charges are yours to manage.
4. Not professional advice
Unclaw's output is conversation, not professional advice. It is not medical, legal, financial, or safety guidance, and you should not rely on it as such.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Unclaw to break the law, to harm others, to violate other services' terms, or to act on accounts or devices you are not authorized to use. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
6. Purchases within Unclaw
Purchases of Unclaw content (characters, credits) are handled by our payment partners under the terms shown at purchase. Except where the law requires otherwise, they are final.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
UNCLAW IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT UNCLAW WILL BE ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOTON LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM ACTIONS UNCLAW TAKES AT YOUR REQUEST, FROM AI OUTPUT, OR FROM YOUR USE OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES THROUGH UNCLAW. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO UNCLAW IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF FIFTY US DOLLARS OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold Foton Labs harmless from claims arising out of actions you directed Unclaw to take, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights or terms.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms by posting a new version at this address with a new effective date; continued use after a change is acceptance. We may suspend or end the service, and you may stop using it, at any time.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong to the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Questions: aryan@fotonlabs.com. Privacy: see the extension privacy policy.
